Ok

(1/4) ^1/2 + (1/25) ^1/2 =?

Well the square root of 1/4 is 1/2 and the square root of 1/25 is 1/5 (do you see it?)

So ... 1/2 + 1/5 = 5/10 + 2/10 = 7/10

Hope this helps.

find the square root of 1/4
which is 1/2

then

find the square root of 1/25
which is 1/5

then proceed to addition

change both fractions into similar fraction
find the LCD

it will be 5/10 plus 2/10

so the answer is 7/10

Sq root of 1/4 is equal to the sq root of the top divided by the sq root of the bottom

Therefore 1/2+1/5 (sq root of 4 is 2 and sq root of 25 is 5)

Now find Lowest Common Denominator

2,4,6,8,10,etc.
5,10,ect.

10 is the Lowest Common Denominator

So 1/2=?/10 1/5=?/10

1/2=5/10 1/5=2/10

5/10+2/10=7/10

7/10

When you take the square root of a fraction, just take the square root of the top over the square root of the bottom.

(I'll use "sqrt()" to denote square root)

i.e. sqrt(1/25) = sqrt(1) / sqrt(25) = 1/5
as well, sqrt(1/4) = sqrt(1) / sqrt(4) = 1/2

so sqrt(1/4) + sqrt(1/25) = 1/5 + 1/2

now you need to find the lowest common denominator. (10)

1/5 + 1/2 = 2/10 + 5/10 = 7/10

well in which class u r?
square root of 4=2
so, square root of 1/4= 1/2
&square root of 25=5
so, square root of 1/25= 1/5
now we have to calculate(1/2)+(1/5)
lcm of 2&5 is 10 so above eqn can b written as (5/10)+(2/10)
now we wil add 5 &2 and answer will be
7/10

Square root of 1/4 is 1/2
Square root of 1/25 is 1/5

When you take square root of 1/4, it is the same as -- (sq. root 1) / (sq. root 4.)

When you take square root 1/25, it is the same as -- (sqrt 1) / (sqrt 25).

Do the same for sqrts of other fractions.
