why do some students think that smoking is cool?

To others - They appear to look as if they are ADULTS... Which they are only fooling themselves and working awfully hard to give the impression to others as being an ADULT. When they are only looking like a "RETARD".....
There excuse will be probably "There parents did, there grand-parents did, there great-great ancestors did back sometimes - Back in B.C. {Before Clothes}
Some usually say that "it calms them"... This is the nicotine(*).
The best advice is - Don't start a habit -- Then find out the hard way.... Because -- It's harder to quit when you discover that you have are all ready become an addict to it.

Funny, I never heard that through all of school. The only people who said "Some kids think smoking is cool" were all those anti-propaganda people that showed up to tell us all how bad smoking is. I have never once heard anyone tell me smoking was cool.

I really don't know why. There is nothing cool about stinky smoke coming out of a person's nose and mouth...not to mention that nasty hacking cough...not at all cool.

Because they're stupid... I'm 15, and I don't think there's anything cool about smoking. I'm not against it, but I myself don't smoke, nor do I understand why others do. It doesn't make you any happier/healthier etc. etc. so what's the point?

Because they are afraid to look cool with small gold spikes through various stupid parts of the body.

Because it's soooooooooo koolz to inhale chemicals into your lungs. You should try it. It's especially koolz if you have a genetic predisposition toward respiratory diseases.
