calm down......it's entirely normal, and entirely fixable. first, get a magnet, a big powerful one, and place it on top of your cpu (you know, that big box looking thing that has the power button on it). leave it there for about 10 minutes, then remove it and take off the casing (the side panels that are screwed on - you might need a screwdriver). then take a power washer and thoroughly clean every part of the inside of your computer. there is alot of dust that builds up in there, make sure you get all of it. then unplug the computer, and gently tap on the back of it with a mallet, hammer, or any other hard metal object. when you have completed all of this, hold the cord to the computer in one hand, and a metal fork in the other, and insert them into your electrical outlet simultaneously. then call the geek squad, and probably the ER.

Nah, it's probably just old. Every time I turn my comp on anymore it makes a horrible buzzing sound for a few seconds... I'm more worried about the VCR that I never really use anymore. It turns on by itself. O.o"

my hubby generally wears his headphones when he is on, cause it annoys me.. then on occasion, the plug comes out, and he is not there, then this large booming voice says, VIRUS SUSTEM HAS BEEN UPDATED> and of course right before that he was listening to music, and all the speakers were left up all the way..

i swear the first time ithappened, my daughter screamed bloddy murder and i damn near pissed my pants.

There's definitely something wrong with the hard drive. Take it for repairs because you will lose all your memory if it's not taken cared of.
