since Rs 1000 = 1 Billion (using the American numbering name system - not the British) it means there are 1 million in a crore .. but then other sites argue that it is 10 million so go figure .. if it's the first then most countries have more than 5 million .. if it's the second one then you're talking 50 million and this would apply to UK, Germany, Russia etc., etc.,
