*I posted this question in R&S and thought I would post it here as well to see what you guys think about it

I use to wonder why they would think that about us, but if all they see about the USA are things like that mockery the homosexuals made of the last supper and they believe that we are going to take over there countries and force them to accept new laws that allow their god to be made a mockery of, then can we blame
them for fighting the way they do?

* I'm not saying that I defend them this just crossed my mind and was wondering if any one else had thought about it like that
(my son has been to Iraq and I know other young men that have been there and they have said that it is getting better over there)

I wondered about it and I can see why they are worried and angry. Mind you I do not condone terrorist style attacks, those are never justified. When I was in Iraq working with the people you see just how much they are like us. They live their lives with similar worries and problems. When I was at a mall like complex one man was trying to take his 2 year old daughter out of a toy store and she was throwing a tantrum because she didn't want to leave. It made me miss my son back home. I also saw how their religion permeates their day to day lives and how seeing the filth, sex, lewd movies, tv shows, music, and print coming from the US I can see how they worry about their little girls and boys. No one wants their daughter to be on the next girls gone wild or in some porn. Over here in America those of us with moral beliefs are told to shut up because of the freedom of speech (which I fully support) but over there some of them see it as a sickness the US is spreading and they want to stop it any way they can.

The islamic terrorists look at more than the fags in the rest of the world... Their hate runs much deeper.. (don't get me wrong... We must deal with this scourge if immoral unnatural disgusting, evil and perverted conduct.....

But, the terrorists use it only as another feather in their cap when killing anyone who doesn't worship their god....(Satan) no matter what name they give it... Actually, they are so enamerred with their satanic (islamic) principles that they have no problem killing even those who share the same beliefs... They are twisted and we cannot make a ryhm or reason that, we can only recognize it as evil...just like homosexuality is EVIL......

I am no scholar, I am just a person who calls a spade a spade and evil, "evil".

I think that the issue to solving this problems (as well as a lot of others) is if we can turely educate educate the people. Most of the terriorist recruited are from very poor, uneducated places that are simply looking for someone to blame and we are a good target that they can rationalize and brainwash into doing just about anything. But the thought just occured to me that to some, might think that is education as well- depending on your position. We do need to have a presence and fight in those areas to show that we are compassionate people- but to do so, we ourselves have to be educated on their culture, history and belief system-- Cutural Antropology and even history for those in the know.

Now I understand that their are problems with Cultural Antropology (we can't completely drop our world view and for forth) but the point is not the results that are obtained by the research, but the ability to put yourself into another culture and to try understand why they do and think the things that they do is the point.

When we will care more for our children learning history and anthropology, not just memorizing dates and names. Who cares. The point of that is to understand another person point of view and to see the world a bit differently. But that is not measured on the "no child left behind testing" it is measured my our success in life.

What was the question. I might have gotten off point! LOL

If you really want to know why they look at America as infidels read the book, "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam". It is an eye opener.
Also many quotes from the Qur'an or the Hadith will tell you why.

After 9/11 happened I wondered how they could look at Americans as infidels when their own beliefs included murdering civilians they knew nothing about. I still don't understand the logic in that.

Is there anything you people don't blame on gays? I doubt they care much about the "mockery" of "The Last Supper" which was painted by a gay man in the first place.

What you should have learned but obviously haven't is that Islamic extremists are what happens when you let religion take over your government. You'd think reading our own history would have taught you that.

Religion is a plague and people who believe in such superstitious drivel have killed billions. Religion should not only be mocked but ridiculed.

Their hatred of us, infidels, comes directly from their Koran and is fostered by their religious leaders.

They would hate us no matter what we did or, didn't do.

It is that simple and everything else is a smokescreen.

The Koran and the Holy Hadith state that non-Muslims should be converted, subjugated (enslaved), or killed. They view any non-Muslims as infidels. It's really as simple as that.

No. They look upon all Christians and non-Muslims as infidels.
