My car lost almost all of its oil within one week, and started making a clicking noise and it sounds like it is coming from the engine. That is when i checked the oil. I put 3 qts. of oil back in it and started up and let it run for about 2 minutes, shut it off and let it set for a few minutes then checked the dip stick again, it still showed barely any oil and the clicking didn't go away. That is when my boyfriend suggested that i needed a new oil pump for it because oil wasn't getting into the engine. I have spent the last 12 hours looking for an oil pump and can't find any information on it, or if my car even has one. Any and all help with my delima would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Yes you have an oil pump but that is not your problem. I believe you have a four cylinder engine which should take four quarts of oil to fill. If the oil is being lost as fast as you say you have a BAD leak. Is your drain plug in properly ? The mystery oil pump is inside the oil pan and not visible.
