It was awesome we partied every night and slept all day with only the best of bands. We smoked under the stars and ran from the fuzz most nights. It was quite the life.

Hi, it was great. We got to wear all the cool stuff that is being rehashed now as fashion when it was just cool stuff not fashion stuff. We ate fondue and bbq, hung out at burger places, skated, had cool rock bands that played live at our local pubs all the time. Never had to pay a fee to enter a pub or nightclub. Daggy disco dancing was cool and everyone was in love, loved or loving! Jobs were everywhere, movies cost less than $2 and big shopping centres and malls were just starting to go BIG... everything seemed new and exciting. We had bonfires and crackers and every kid in the neighbourhood knew every other kid and we got up to heaps of mischief but never anything bad. We respected people who worked hard for what they had and we respected their stuff too. aaahhh the seventies (I loved my flares and skinny rib tops)... memories...
