Ultimately I am. But there are people that have control of things that I nor anyone can control. The one world government movement has the ability to manipulate people and the local governments and not leave a mark on what they do. I didn't believe the stories about this world wide shadow group, until Bush talked about a western hemisphere free trade zone. And this is the perfect way to consolidate power in a unified hemisphere. and that is not exactly in the best interest of individuals in this hemispere.

Hey, JC. Good question. There was a time when I would have said that I was in control of my own future, & I would have believed it completely. However, as I mature...I question that answer. I'm not sure that anyone is completely in control of their future. I think instead, now, that it's a combination of personal choices, Higher Power, and perhaps even random fate.

Maybe that means I've entered another seeking phase of life, I don't know....but at least I'm still questioning too & obviously so are you. :)

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
.............................
obviously not my own words; but beautiful aren't they?
I am, in control of my future.
I am a "Free Agent" I came into this world that way,
and I'll go out that way!

God,Jesus Christ, and myself. I call God master because he is the master of the world he created me and he is in control of my life and future of course. plus everything i do is in his plan. he gives everyone choices. Everything is up to him. He might come tomorrow or today. Your life can end right now. You can never escape his plan for you. Everyone that says that they are in control. Well your not you do have choices to do good or bad. If your going to do that or that. But he know what you do before you do it. Every word you say he knows it before you say it. Believe what you want to believe but he will always control your future you can't escape his plan for you.

God may want me to die tomorrow so I am not in control of that, but I have my life in control otherwise. Since my man left me I am so much better off even if not financially, I know where I am going, when I am going to get there and what roads to take. I work 40+ hrs a week, go to school fulltime, care for a 5 yr old and my house all by myself so yeah, I have it all under control.

ya know that is a great question for me right now because i am trying to decide between staying at my current job or going to a new one. the job i have i really like, but i just got a new sup and dont really like her style of management and we just lost three really big clients so i dont feel secure.
i have an opportunity to get a similar job working with a friend of mine and it sounds like a great chance. now i need to decide if i should stay where i am comfortable or move on to a more secure job.

To a certain extent 'I am' but then because I am surrounded by the people I love (and their opinions and lives mean something to me), they also have a certain amount of control over it too.
