Here in Los Angeles, I remember there being blacks versus Mexican riots in schools back in 90s and these things are still going on. I'm also hearing about Mexican gangs that drive around looking for blacks to murder, some of them not even being gang members. It seems to me that it is never blacks that are starting these fights. I don't know what it is, but is seems like many Mexicans are just racist(sometimes violently racist) against blacks. Blacks have no history of oppressing Mexicans or denying them rights or anything. Yet there is this hate driving some Mexicans gangs to go killing blacks for no reason. And from what I hear, racist attitudes towards blacks are pretty much the norm even among Mexicans not involved in gangs. Where does this hate come from? Because from what I see, it doesn't seem like blacks are doing anything to Mexicans.

I live on the east coast in New York so i cant say I know for a fact, but I'm really assuming you're quite wrong. Gangs are gangs, they fight and retaliate and then retaliate to the retaliation. It's a vicious cycle. When you hear about a Mexican stabbing a black it could very well be because the black guy stabbed one of his fellow gang members. Here there are plenty of Latin and blacks gangs. Gang members in general thrive on hate, violence, drug distribution and use, regardless of their ethnicity

I remember one night I was in a liquor store and a mexican guy stabbed a black guy. I don't really know what it was about but I am not sure if it is purely racial. A lot of these guys have ties to gangs and drugs and especially to the turf you are trying to do business on. Mess around on someone's territory and I don't care what color you are there is going to be violence. See an illegal immigrant from Mexico is coming from a different place. A lot of these guys are from severe poverty, you ain't **** to some of them because there coming from a low place and in some parts Mexico you can probably have someone killed for 500 bucks, I'm serious about that to. I also know a black guy and a mexican who are best friends so these things are usually happening to poor people and one of the downfalls of capitalism.

I m an African American from Atlanta. Most Mexican immigrants I meet here have been very friendly to me, especially at the beginning. After a time things change. Because many of us African Americans ignore them, they ignore us likewise. Not only Mexicans, I ve noticed this from some Africans, Jamaicans...etc. They will start out being very open and friendly to African Americans, but then change after a while. They do this because many of us African Americans treat them like they re aliens from another planet. We have very few words to say to them, so they in turn treat us the same way. This, of course, is not true in every case. I try to be friendly to people. There is a verse in the bible that reads: "A man (or woman) that has friends must show himself friendly.

You'r wrong. Its just Mexican gangs vs Black gangs, both sides are poor people from poor neightborhoods, and where there's poverty there's always all kinds of violence. So they fight for territories, and there's little tolerance, those are rules in the underworld.
You might have the idea that Mexicans are rascist since mexican ex president Fox told said some rascist comments once, not intended to be rascist, the guy is just a complete moron in termos of discretion, and it was not his first screw up. He had had many in different subjects.

It's curious cuz I heard the opposite, that blacks are racist agianst mexicans. I guess it depends who says so, but I don't think anyone can generalize just like that, netiher with mexs nor with blacks.
I'm Mexican and I live in Mexico, I don't think most people dislike blacks, I've known a couple here (from Africa, or the USA) and they hang out with mexicans and they are well treated by us.
Maybe that blacks vs mexicans stuff only happens within gangs and a few stupid racists... I've been to the US a couple of times and I have gotten along with blacks, hispanics and whites as well.

Actually there was a riot at my school over a "race war" between blacks and mexicans(not all of them just the ones involved in the stupid petty gang crap). there was like mass fighting and cops had to come to the school to break it up. it's all ego. mexican gang members have to show how tough they are and fight over their territory by staring fights with black gang members(and sadly some non-gang members) and of course in any gang warfare there's gonna be retalitation and each side thinks their right. it's stupid really.

theres very few those that imagine that they are more suitable ideal than some...and the only struggling with are likely gangs ceremony. properly they both noticeably a lot have a similar mentality. so hence conflicts happen and thats how the fights start up

and people say white people are racist i tottally agree..though LA is alright city just not the gang poor parts
