You know the ones where they rent them out and you put your items in the garage?I was wondering if I can live in one of those cause there like only 95 a month and im trying to save money.

legally ... no.

But you can stay there all day.. and leave at night.. or make them think you left at night?

Its a tough situation.. one that my buddy tried.. he became good friends with the people and they let him stay once in a while.. but it is illegal.

My ex husbands brother moved into a storage garage with his wife and children and children and family services helped him to find housing.
I suppose if its warm you can live in one. You wll not have water and most of them do not have electricity. You may be able to run lights off a battery.

No for several reasons.

1) The storage facility won't allow it because of their insurance, zoning, and liability.

2) Where are you going to shower?

3) Also, I haven't see toilet facilities in storage units.

If you get a night job and sleep there during the day in a chair, you might get away with it, but it is illegal and you will most likely get caught.

as long as it has an electrical hook up for a space heater and maybe a fridge and hotplate and you don't get caught by the management
