I think, they will just change the "Name" and still operate. It is already being said that the "employees" are highly trained with security clearances..blah blah blah... So some of the "employees" will probably be "hired" by a new company if Blackwater gets booted.. blah blah. So, same outfit, different name? What do you think?

The biggest chunk of their change is coming from Iraq:
Blackwater and two other contractors share a $571 million annual contract to protect diplomats and others in Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel and other countries. The Iraq share of the contract accounts for about $520 million, although not all goes to Blackwater.

Why do people think that every contractor in Iraq,
Is a security contractor ??
A mercenary cook , is that even possible ??
A mercenary truck driver ???
A mercenary Laundress ?
Blackwater employees about 865 employees in iraq
And the anti blackwater crowd, acts like they employee 10's of thousands.
Ive actually seen someone in answers who said blackwater had 180,000 employees.
Why they don't like Blackwater ??
Because the owners daddy was a big Republican party contributor.
Of course, most of the blackwater employees who are just contract workers after all, will just sign contracts with whatever new firm gets the State department security contract.
The whole Blackwater issue, is politics, both on the iraqi side and on the US side.

As bad as it sounds I hope they are not kicked out of Iraq.
That would be disastrous because they perform essentil function of protecting dignitaries (local and visiting) which is a job that the U.S. military would have to do otherwise meaning we would need MORE troops.
Clearly those who violate the law and especially anyone who has comitted murder should be prosecuted and put in jail. This SHOULD go without saying. However there is a larger issue at stake here.
Private contractors are used by our military (and others) in part because due to a variety of issues (low pay , long contracts etc.) many people would rather fight for a private firm than in our army and so they do not join our army but the firm and there is a shortage of recruits.
If we still had a draft (this war probably would never have occurred if we still had the draft ) this issue would be moot but with an all volunteer army sometimes you have to hire outside help.
There are 180,000 private contractors (mercenaries )in Iraq right now. That's right 180,000 . That's 20,000 more than we have troops.
What many people do not realize is that these contractors are also subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice that governs our troops even though they are outside the chain of command they are stil subject to these laws.
So no the same guys who committed murder will not be there , hopefully THEY will be in jail but private contractors will.
Besides that where do you find a friendly group of mrcenaries and what the hell good would they be?

It won't be that obvious.
What will happen is that Blackwater will lose contracts in Iraq and lay off the employees who have few skills and are just guards and go on with some new contracts in other places like Afghanistan and the Philippines.
Some of the mercenarys with Blackwater now and the executives with the military and and political connections will leave and start other private military contracting companies (PMCs). They will be smaller and they will be more specialised and less visible.
They will have their investment from the same people who invested in Blackwater and other PMCs but the real support is from having the connections to get the special contracts.
BTW investing some money in a PMC to be a partner just makes it look legitimate. The people who can't do that legally they can be taken care of by doing business with friends of theirs and double invoicing.
Believe me, "security and counter-terrorism" is a sweet racket..

Blackwater received't and would no longer get completely kicked in a overseas usa. so some distance as i comprehend, there aren't the different safe practices companies that are qualified sufficient and performance the logistics to provide the safe practices it really is mandatory by technique of the DoS workers. There are plently of safe practices companies which have sprung up because the emergence of the warfare yet, none with the unsurpassed skills of Blackwater united states. Ageis (sp?) would properly be the in basic terms different agency that would take care of to address something of this value yet they're a British organization and performance had plently of scrutiny on their "extreme use of pressure". all of it boils right down to at least something like agencies that imagine they could cope with it (i.e. Triple cover and international) i might want to trust my existence with international a lot more suitable than TC (Gurkhas vs. Hispanics... i will take the Gurkhas) both way, neither this variety of agencies provide the academic and weaponry that Blackwater does and has for extremely a at the same time as. contained in the secruity international there are few agencies that are as useful and specialist as Blackwater united states. There are some South African companies and perchance one or 2 British, except that, no individual else can likely do the interest with out doing a large hiring frenzy. With this may come unqualified and untrained human beings being despatched someplace the position they don't look in basic terms risking their lives yet others besides. (human beings operating with them and the individuals they are being paid to guard). the guideline is, in a warfare like this, conserving the individuals they do, shoot first and ask questions later (no longer actually). What are they going to seize more suitable **** from? Killing some Iraqis or no longer firing on them and having DoS workers killed??? i don't think of it takes a rocket scientist to respond to this one. in the adventure that they are requested to go away, DoS will actually close down operations or employ yet another contractor and get an excellent style of human beings killed. Iraqis comprehend Blackwater and hate them. human beings comprehend Blackwater and should be happy that they are conserving our pastimes because we do not agencies like TC putting a gaggle of 2d cost third usa Nationals responsible of conserving our human beings remote places. In essence they already have... should you've been there, you'll comprehend what i'm speaking about.

It isn't about blackwater. Iraquis are pissed that we are still in their country. They can't do anything about the military, so they look for a scapegoat that is similiar to the military but whom they think that they can sue or toss out. That is Blackwater, it has nothing to do with their jobs, because they are protecting Ithe diplomats that are doing business with the Iraq government to make them a viable government (which will never ever happen) BUt they can be "touched" so they are trying to make a point. Which they can't, because they are not a real government and are not in charge of their own country. So they are whining like little girls.
