Mainly because it adds up to be 5 (if you add 2 and 3 together), and five was my day of birth, which is one less than the number of the month of my birth (6).
and I just find it to be a very attractive number. Usually when a person is in their prime :] and if you switch it around, you get 32, which is the age I want to die (young, I know, but any later than that, and I know I'll have to go through menopause, and I'll probably get cancer yada yada yada).
And its an odd number.
Gotta love odd numbers.

13...13 follows me everywhere, my home address is 5113, I am the 13th house down the road, my middle ssn number is 13, my telephone number has 13 in it..my mother was born on the 13th, my grandma died on a 13th..they surround me but I hate the number

Every year, I would change my favorite number to how old I was...until I was 6. That's when I decided that would be my favorite number forever. And it has been ever since.
