yes! sometimes when I'm losing at something like a sport or am really nervous, especially when I think: "I can't do this!!" Then I can bearly hold back tears, but I'm NOT sad at all..or upset. I'm just kind of like "What the heck. I can't do this!!, but I might as well try. It's not hurting me." I still don't understand why I almost cry. It is SO embarassing. I don't know how to stop it. I'm completely calm and everything, but I can't help getting really teary and bearly holding it back. Sometimes I've actually cried.
but about emotions in general, I never show any emotions at all. mad, upset, sad, even nervious or happy. I just don't. I don't know why I don't, but that's just me. the bad thing is sometimes I can come off as rude to people since I never show when I'm happy or thankful very well. I mean, should I jump up and down? I just smile politely and say "Thank You so much". You wouldn't be able to tell whether the gift was the worst piece of crap I'd ever received or a billion dollars.

I've always been able to hold my emotions inside. When I'm really nervous, nobody can tell, and only I am aware of the itchy hives on my stomach. I rarely cry. As a result of this, my boyfriend has to ask me if I'm upset or angry. Boy, am I glad he asks.

I'm pretty lucky, I live in Seattle so the rain covers most of my tears when the emotions take over

If you notice from the above answers it is the men who do not have the problem on the whole. Women have hormones and as long as we continue to moan we will continue to have emotions. And that's OK.

emotions is what makes you special. It is how you react to situations and other people. You may be hurt, but you don't want to dig a hole and disappear. Just think of all that you have to offer to others and what they will miss by you not being yourself.

Yes sometimes I actually look in the mirror and make myself change my attitude if I am upset. I wish it was more effective.
