me and my friends are thinking about going to St. Louis for New Years and were wondering what are some good places to go and celebrate? We want something close to hotels also thanks.

Your best bet will be to stay downtown. There are plenty of hotels, some in walking distance from the Landing.

Laclede's Landing has many restuarants and clubs/bars. Most of them are in walking distance of each other so it will be easy to find one that you like.

The Landing is a good choice if you are looking for the typical "club" atmosphere. Also for more laid back fun try westport or soulard or lafayette square. Try the central west end too. Try looking for events on explorestlouis.com or ksdk.com. Also for a cheap hotel I reccomend hotwire.com! Have fun!

Almost all of the hotels and clubs will have parties. I would suggest something downtown or central west end.

The Landing will be rockin. It is right by the Arch. Also University City will be bumpin, its a few miles west of downtown.
