My husband has a habit of asking me "Are you Ok? You sure?" during sex. And he doesn't ask just once or twice, but several times (I counted 11 times on just ONE occasion). It really ruins the mood and makes me uninterested in finishing. I've told him, MANY times, that its ruining it for me and to please stop, but it continues. I just don't understand how he can't tell that I'm perfectly fine during sex, especially with the heavy breathing, moaning and huge smile I usually have on my face. And if for some reason I'm not OK, I'd tell him to stop. Please help me...I want to enjoy sex again!

My husband does worry all the time if he's hurting me, even though on occasion it would be nice. But no offense to my husband, but I don't think he could hurt me if he tried.

I did have a baby 3 months ago...but I'm all healed up from that. And this has been happening since before I even got pregnant.

11 times? I would only ask my wife that if we fell onto the floor and she hit her head on the bedrail or something. Maybe he thinks he is hurting you? If my wife tells me it hurts, I take that as an invitation to pound harder... I don't know why... but I never ask if she is ok... unless that bad thing happens where I am going really fast with long deep strokes but Jimmie Pedro Ganja plops out of her and stabs her in that spot and she does a quick tummy crunch while I try to get my deep man voice back... but that just takes a sec and right back at it

Did you just have a baby or surgery. my hubby would do the same thing after an illness or baby. To me it was a sweet jester and a way of showing sensitivity for me. It stopped when I got better.

But if it is bothering you that much try playing some bondage games and duck taping his mouth shut!

Ok- go ahead and give him the status update- do you want things ruined on time or all the time? He'll probably stop once you do.

Next time, put your hand over his mouth and keep it there until you're done. Or maybe whenever he asks, stop the sex and just talk and talk about something annoying and boring that happened earlier that day. hee hee! ^_^

Gees ... that sounds like me. I am constantly asking him questions that are irrelevant to sex.

If you have already told him, and that has not worked. Try cutting him off until he keeps his mouth shut... or maybe wear some earplugs of head phones.

Good luck....

Are you ok?

Don't give him a chance to talk as you talk him through some sexy fantasy of his (or yours). He won't know WHAT to say.....
