Any abortion has the potential of doing harm and harming your ability to become pregnant. Once a women has one abortion she should know what caused her to become pregnant and take steps to prevent anymore unwanted pregnancies. Abortion is not a form of birth control. Abortion is proven to be very painful to the unborn fetus why would you want to keep causing this pain on another life. When all it would take is for you to be responsible for your actions to prevent the pregnancy in the first place.

One, I find it particularly offensive that you spell it with the exaggerated "sss" at the end. It's like you are trying to make it some sort of comical thing, rather then a very important decision and topic. It makes you look ignorant really.
Two, abortions shouldn't be used as birth control.
Three, any medical procedure runs risks of complications.
From iVillage
"There is no easy, absolute answer to this question. The more times the cervix undergoes stress -- be it from D&Cs (for abortions or for abnormal bleeding) or from a LEEP or conization treatment after an abnormal pap smear -- the more likely it may be injured. Such injury includes scarring of the cervix, or cervical stenosis, which can prevent menstrual blood from getting out and sperm from getting in; this leads to higher chances of endometriosis or infertility. Another possible complication is cervical incompetence, in which the cervix is weakened and opens up inappropriately during pregnancy, leading to miscarriage or premature delivery.
Repeated abortions may also cause scarring inside the uterus. We call this Asherman's syndrome, and it can lead to infertility and miscarriage. If an abortion is complicated by an infection, then blockage of the fallopian tubes is another possibility. This may result in infertility, chronic pelvic pain or increased chance of an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy.
This is not to say that abortion is inherently a highly dangerous procedure. For many women, the potential damage from an abortion is far less than the physical and personal complications posed by an unplanned pregnancy. Still, like any surgical procedure, abortion carries risks -- and the more often you undergo the procedure, the more likely you are to suffer one of those risks. The result may be that you are unable to have a child when you want one. "

I am not a Dr. so I cannot answer this question, but I can tell you that when you are old enough to want to want to raise a child it may be difficult emotionally to know that you chose to end a life. There is NOTHING in life that is more of a miracle than holding a precious new life in your arms. It is the ultimate gift. There are many well equipped couples who spend thousands of dollars trying to become pregnant only to be disappointed over and over. Why not share your gift of a child with them? You can contact a reputable adoption agency to help you and even choose the family for your baby. Until you are in a place in your life where you are emotionally mature enough and financially stable enough to raise a child well, perhaps you should consider this option.

I do not agree with abortions. having said that I lost 2 babies due to miss carriages where they had to practice a D & C, and had one abortion for medical reasons. And I still have 3 beautiful boys.
Abortions is NOT a birth control method and a mistake can ruin you chances of having children in the future.

It can.
If there are going to be chances of this happening, you should really think about taking measures like birth control. They're many types you can choose from. It's easier to chose birth control then to have to choose abortions.
Just think about it.

complications can arise from any type of surgery so you are risking your health.. Miscarriage and abortion are both stressful events, but a study from Norway suggests that abortion may be associated with more long-term psychological distress. do your research and good luck dear.

yes it could mess up your chance of getting preg in the future. I am not trying to sound like a smart *** but if you have already had one why are you not using protection? This would save you so many problems

Of course it is dangerous...it's dangerous to have one abortion! If you don't want a baby, either stop having sex or get on some reliable form of birth control! I hate to sound mean, but ABORTION IS NOT A FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL!!!! Yes, having abortions can mess up your future chances of getting pregnant. Here is what you do when you have an abortion...

if you go to a proper clinic then there shouldn't be too many risks involved, whilst you there ask weather you can get some advice on contraception.
