My g.f. has just started wearing fake eye lashes. She claims it makes her eyes look attractive, but it scares she **** out of me.
Women these days colour iron their hair, wear fake eyelashes, botox, breast augumentation, push-up bras, liposuction, heels to look taller, everything about women is fake from head to toe, literally!

If we get gray hair then we would want to dye hair to the color we had before. Nothing wrong with wearing high heels, make up, and fashions.
You're right about breat augumation. lipsuction, botox, push up bras, different hair colors from what they have naturally, and fake eyelashes.
Women's bra sizes has nothing to do with their self worth as human beings. Only losers who are nothing with nothing going for themselves judge women's self worth based on their bra sizes.
Fake eyelashes are gross, especially when they fall into your food. Blah! Tell your girlfriend that.
Women with dark brown hair thinking dark hair is nasty looking by bleaching their hair blonde or coloring their hair various red shades because they couldn't and/or can't afford to go blonde is just pathetic and totally fake.

i could not agree with you more. I believe we should do other things to prevent all that fakery. Be proud of who we are, whether we're short or tall or whatever. We should do things to prevent that botox stuff, perhaps eating good, sleeping good, drinking plenty of water, exercising our facial muscles. Doing things like chest exercises to enhance our breasts. Personally I do up to 60 push-ups a day, give or take. Eating plenty of fruits and veggies keeps the weight down. Just think of how much money we can save doing things the natural way. For the grey hair rubbing the fingernails and Biotin works wonders.

Not all women are fake and not all parts of a woman are fake... there are still a GOOD MAJORITY of us who move about the country AU NATURALE (with clothes of course)...it's the very vain ones who slice, dice, suck and tuck on their bodies... some to such an extent that they now look FREAKY rather then resemble ANYTHING of beauty....Looking younger really hurt Kenny Rogers, Joan Rivers, Michael Jackson, and MANY others... oh and have you seen WAYNE NEWTON? GEEZ---any more face lifts and the guys eyes will be where his EARS should be.

It is pretty off putting as in a sickness that women change their appearance so much.

I would take a natural girl over a fake with a mask on any day.

lol. If you hate her eye lashes that much, you really should share that piece of info with her. It might not be a problem at all. But what is your point, dear: women will always try to make themselves look more attractive. Not everyone is blessed with a perfect body and face, so they will continue to try to get there by any means they have and don't (?). lol

Hopefully though, in a few years your girl ( she doesn't sound like a woman to me, sorry ) will learn about who she is inside and start showing more respect for herself and other people around her by dressing accordingly.

However, if you have a problem with a push-up bra and high heeled shoes, you should travel to Africa and marry a bush woman.

let me give ya the lowdown on why those things are done...

1. hair color...some women do not like thier natural hair color...so they change it. end of story

2. ironing hair....do you mean straightening? some women have nappy or very curly hair... the wish to straighten it because to them it looks better.

3. long eyelashes bring out a woman's eyes...very few women are blessed with long eyelashes. so they use what help they can get. its the lashes that look like tammy faye baker that are scary

4. breast jobs....i dont see the problem myself in those...some women may need for cosmetic surgery after say..a masectomy...some get them because they want bigger breasts..and some get them because they want smaller breasts...which may be causing back pain.

5. Push up bras....some women have the furniture disease...thier chest is in thier drawers.

6. lipo....what do you expect when everyone calls you a fat @ss cow? some women feel they need extreme things done to thier bodies to be attractive to men and society. its sad..but true.

7. Heels...we dont wear them to look taller...we wear them so you will look at our butts( ok maybe some of us do but not all of us)...and you know you do..so dont even play like you dont.

now some of us dont abide by all those things...but id have to say at least every woman abides by one of those things if not more...

me personally i abide by 1 and 5.

i dye my hair black coz i do not really like the natural color.

and i wear underwire bras because i need to support.

anyhow...dont you do things to look your best too? or do you just sit around all day in your cave sniffing your arm pits?

Always has been - we just have the technology to do it better these days - lipo instead of a corset, ancient Egyption women dyed their hair and wore lipstick, ancient Chinese women bound their feet so they were more feminine and demure, women used to get married before they turned 21 because they would lose their "fresh bloom of youth" and were no longer attractive. Women still see their looks as currency, and worth investing in.

My natural hair colour is that perfect shade of ash between brown and blonde that is commonly referred to as "mousy."

It's boring and completely unfun.

I'm very much Irish with the pale skin and freckles to show for it. I dye my hair red. A very bright but natural looking shade of light red. Think Tori Amos or Marcia Cross.

I do it because I like it. I do it because it's fun. I do it because it's different and I'm not quite the same as everyone else but not some sort of over-reacting teenage angst sufferer for it.

Most importantly, I do it because, as I have mentioned, I like it.

I very rarely wear makeup, I think I've worn fake eyelashes twice for Halloween, I have never had botox injections, breast augmentation (or reduction, which, you should know, many of us consider for much the same reasons others have them made larger), or liposuction.

I do love to wear heels. They are not fake. They flex our leg muscles in a way to show off those muscles. To think us fake for those may well be the same as to think any one fake for ever attempting to improve and display their physique.

Women have a most wonderful advantage over men in that we can change our appearance so easily and in ways that are so socially acceptable. The naive would think these as ways to oppress women but just think of how much fun you could have with tweaking your look just a little to play out a whole different aspect of your personality.

Our looks are not who we are. Our personalities are who we are. As women we have a lot more freedom to play with our looks to display different aspects of our personalities than men do.

Let yourself loose a little. Let your girlfriend express herself however she wants. Learn to actually love that she allows herself the freedom to do so. Maybe in doing so you can learn to be a little less rigid in judging people by the way they look.

Not all of us are fake. I've never colored my hair (it's going white, and it's going to keep going white... my mom's is all white and it's gorgeous!), never worn make-up, no plastic surgery, no fake skin color (meaning tanning), no heels, no push-up bra (come on, who's going to believe someone my age has breasts up under her chin?). I do admit to perming my hair, but it is so much better than its natural state, which is big and frizzy like Rosanne Rosannadanna. I did get a kick out of your comment on your gf's eyelashes.
