Help! I'm gay,I think. I have a crush on my straight male best friend. He already knows that I am gay. He told me that he loves this girl. I see them talking and getting closer together. I'm jealous of her. I feel heartbroken. Should I tell my best friend how I feel? How do I move on from this crush?

I would suggest you keep it as best friend. I know it sucks that he is unattainable, but if you make a move on him, things will get ugly, and it may ruin the friendship you already have. Worst case scenario would be Jenny Jones, but hopefully that won't happen.

Part of getting respect is giving it, and if he respects that you are gay, then you should respect that he is straight.

Yes, you will have to give him time to be with his girl, and hopefully, he will have time to be best friends with you too.

In the meantime, maybe you might meet the right guy who can return affection and all will be good.

To move on, just keep living. It's not easy or pain-free, but it works. If possible, keep on doing what you used to do, and pretend he's studying to be a priest or something. If you're really mature, you might get to like the GF!

The ONLY reason to tell him how you feel is if you don't think you can stay friends without sex, or that it's just too painful to be around him knowing he'll never love you sexually, then you owe him that explanation. Otherwise, what's the point?

It does you no good if you tell him, because he can't like you anyway. Unless of coarse, if he's bi.
He might get creeped out if you tell him anyway. I'm not telling you to repress your feelings, but just not to show them around him.
Even if he is bi, he has a girl, so he wouldn't be interested in you at the moment.
But if you feel the need to, go ahead. Sometimes you can't keep everything in, and you just have to tell someone.
You never know until you try.
Best of luck!

I know this may be really disheartening, but you need to move on. It seems that your friend and this girl are getting closer and if it we me, I wouldn't interfere with their developing relationship. I think it would be best to simply find a new crush. Hey, you might find that you are simply bi.

You need to get over it. If he is straight, it's not going to happen. Your choice if you want to tell him, it just might cause problems, and it won't get you closer to him, so that doesn't look it would do any good.
It may hurt but you have to realize there are other guys out there... ones that will date you =]

You'll lose your friend if you do that. Is that worth it?
