The name most people remember as the teacher from the Peanuts comic strip and shows is "Miss Othmar," since she is the most frequently mentioned teacher.
Miss Othmar was Linus's teacher, not Charlie Brown's. Charlie Brown's teacher was only named once in the comic strip, and that name was Mrs. Donovan. (Charlie Brown isn't in Linus's class, although he has visited it few times.)
Mrs. Donovan was mentioned in a series of strips where Charlie Brown volunteers to be in the school spelling bee, the exact date being the February 17, 1966 daily strip, which is reprinted in "The Unsinkable Charlie Brown."
Other teachers named in the strip and TV have been "Mrs. Hagemeyer" (Miss Othmar's married name), "Miss Halverson" (who replaced Miss Othmar temporarily during a strike), and "Miss Swanson" and "Miss Tenure" (both have been named as Peppermint Patty's teacher).

I imagine you're thinking of Linus' favorite teacher, Miss Othmar; who later married and changed her name to Mrs Hagemeyer.
Of course if you're thinking of Marcie and Peppermint Patty's teacher, that would, of course, be "Ma'am".
