I have little gnat-like bugs on the upstairs bathroom ceiling?

I have these little bugs in the bathroom, but nowhere else in my home. They like to sit on the ceiling, and they end up dying and falling into the sink. Can someone please tell me what they are, where they came from, how to get rid of them, and how to prevent them from coming back?

Gnats in home usually generate from plant pot soil, if you have plants at home check soil, soil may be old, you need to change or treat soil, you can spray proper bug killer directly into soil to kill the root of the bugs,

Apply some Pollyfilla. You can buy it in a tube ready mixed. Just apply some to the hole, and smooth off with a wet knife blade.
