The science thriller - quite the sub-genre

What is your fave by Mr Crichton. Also do you know of any similar authors...

The Andromeda Strain - first published in 1969

I also really like Richard Preston in this genre - try The Cobra Event

I love Michael Crichton. My favorite is Andromeda Strain , Jurassic Park and State of Fear.

Robin Cook is similar although his are medical thrillers. I can't think of another author quite like him. Dean Koontz has some interesting concepts in some of his work though.

Jurrasic Park is still one of my favorite books. Congo and State of Fear were good too.
Some of his books were awful- prey? But I like most of them.

I like all of his books, but my favorite is Timeline. It deals with my favorite subject - time travel.
