Japan is a culture with only minor Christian influence; most take an eclectic view on spirituality based on traditional Asian values combined with some Western notes. The closest thing would be Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood; it's all about how we as humans must learn to grow unitedly within the bounds put on us by God. Fullmetal Alchemist (which begins the same but diverges because it was created before the manga was completed (FMA Brotherhood is based entirely on the manga)) is much darker, though with a similar message. Both include good Christian elements in it, though; the main villains are actually named after the 7 deadly sins.

most anime doesn't really focus on Christianity (they may have Christian character). this is because less than 10% of Japan is Christian, else someone would have warned Kisimoto that 666Satan is probably the worst name for a shonen manga lol

There are some animes where at least one of the characters is a Christian. For example, in the anime Saint Tail, Seira is a nun-in-training. And in the anime Chrono Crusade (sometimes spelled Chrno Crusade), all the main characters are Christian, and there are lots of Christian references in the plot.

I don't know of any anime, but there's a manga called Cross that has the main character being a priest, (in the true style, rather than the fallen ones like Trigun's Wolfwood)

try teddekker.com, because I believe he has a christian one coming out soon, based off the circle trilogy. wouldn't it be great to have a christian cartoon?
edit: I think it is possible to create an anime that is really good. Think about it, most anime have the basic theme of redemption. then there is some romance, and there is violence, but its violence of evil verus good.

If you see "Christians" in anime, it is more likely to be nuns with guns (who aren't neccessarily bad) more than Christian themes and teachings. You can find plenty of anime with good teachings of morality, though.
I do know of one manga that is Christian based, though: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/manga.php?id=4766
