I have been thinking the same thing! I have friends coming over this Sunday, and so far I am thinking about making pasta salad, Hawaiian chicken wings,( it's so good!) if you want that recipe email me and I will give it to you, and it's so easy to make. And also I will barbaque some flank steak, and of course I'll have all the appetizers such as chips and dips and a veggie platter, and cheese and crackers. : )

ok I love this, here we go....
Option 1: Nice grilled chicken with mash potato & gravy, steamed vegetables with a nice green garden salad. If you are a good cook, I suggest a potato casserole instead of the mash.
Option 2: Steak w gravy, chips, salad and roast vegetables.
Option 3: Lasagne, chips, salad
Option 4: Chicken/Beef Stir fry on rice or noodles, asian salad and mini appetizers.
Good Luck
Also maybe for dessert you can make raspberry souffle so easy to make. you only need water, sugar, raspberries and egg whites

Open a couple of cans of Stags chili and through in some sliced hot dogs. Make some cornbread and have some beer in the fridge. Enjoy!

Depends on if they are light or heavy eaters. Sometimes the best solution when it comes to a last minute dinner is a simple but delicious pasta dish, whether it is marinara or alfredo. Good Luck!!

Whatever you make, make it taste really awful. That'll teach them to invite themselves over. And, maybe they will feel sorry for you since you don't know how to cook and invite you over there more often.

Well, it seems like they maybe just dropped by to be friendly, or pay a visit.
When this happens to me, I usually just order out. I don't cook for people on the spur of the moment! Order a pizza or something, then you can concentrate more on spending time with these people than on cooking.
