It should work but only with GameCube games. It's like 2 systems in one with the GC ports on top but operate separately. Wii-motes for Wii games and GC controllers for GC games. I don't own a GameCube but I bought 2 Hip Gear wireless GC controllers and a memory card to play GC Zelda, Pokemon XD, Super Smash Brothers Melee and Battalion Wars. The receiver pack just plugs in on top like a wired controller and works great.

Yes your MadCatz controller IS compatible, just as long as it has the exact same controller cord as a regular gamecube controller

no because if it was made to go with the gamecube it can't go to the wii sorry i have a game cube don't worry i try to use my wireless all the time for something else it doesn't work

im noticeably particular the on the spot gamecube controllers do artwork. easily, i'm particular, i study it in a evaluation... I wont artwork as a action sensor, even though it is going to artwork as a regualr controller
