I think it would be very cool. Theoretically, it can be done in liquid that is super-saturated with oxygen; I've seen lab tapes of mice in liquid breathing just fine under those conditions, once they got past the initial panic of being submerged. That's not to say that I'd necessarily want to try it myself, of course, but it is an interesting notion.

I've actually had dreams where I can breathe underwater and in my dream I realize that I shouldn't be able to do this. It rattles me a bit, but the dream goes on. Weird, huh?

I spent almost 30 years SCUBA diving, and this is as near as you can get. It is a superb feeling, flying and breathing underwater.

NOPE.

For two reasons:
First, I've seen the movie THE ABYSS where they have a liquid scuba system (which is real, by the way).
And Second, I had a dream like that - it ruled.

I know what it's like to breathe underwater. I'm a scuba diver. I haven't been lately, though.

yes. I would love to be able to do it. Even for just one day. Scuba diving is cool but to have that freedom would be great.

I used to scuba dive and wondered what it would be like without all the bulky equipment. My childhood hero was "Aquaman".
