Freud didn't analyze Moses. He analyzed the emergence of monotheism. He thought "Moses" was fictional, or at least an amalgamation of at least two people. The first Moses was actually a priest of Ahknaten's worship of the sun disk. The later Moses was a leader of the wandering Hebrews who believed that the most powerful god was the Sinai volcano. The first Moses led the Hebrews out of Egypt and taught them the religion of Ahknaten. Over the centuries after the death of the first Moses, other men of a priestly caste called themselves Moses and incorporated the ancient Hebrew belief in the volcano god with the monotheism of Ahknaten.

Incidentally, "Moses" is "prince" in the ancient Egyptian
language.

Anyway, Freud's main contribution in this analysis dealt with the psychology of religion. Mainly that religion developed from ambivalent feelings for fathers.
