Killing a king is called Regicide... im not sure what you call someone who kills a king.

Regicide is the term for the crime, and I've heard the term applied to the perpetrators as well. As in 'the regicides were dug up and hanged" after Charles II was invested as King.

I am not 100 percent sure, but I think you can use regicide for both.
