So i went around the development and got signatures and then handed them to the HOA board and a week later they took the court down. I want to no what i should do to help bring the court back. Thank you and advice would be appreciated.

HOA is a private organization. It is paid for buy all the homeowners in that community collectively. So if everyone in the community wants it, they would keep it. If the majority doesn't want it they will take it down. I guess try and persuade the people that don't want it so that the majority rules.

Who do you think will be held responsible for any accident that occurs on the court. Not only are they correct to do this they did the most responsible thing and now have reduced the limitations of liability for themselves. You bought a condo not a ball court. You are seriously in need of a clue if you think you can force something on the Assn. They are not required to provide your entertainment for you. Grow up!!!

There is really nothing you can do. Usually, the home owner's association members are volunteers and by purchasing the house in the community, the buyer agrees to abide by the rules and decision by the board.

The only way anyone can change this is by volunteering yourself and see if you can sway the members decisions.

Your petition, unfortunately, mean nothing. They can ignore it completely if they chose to.

Contact your HOA president & ask what can be done to have the cout re-instated. Or gather alot more signatures on your petition.
