If I remember the first ep I remember Ruthie being in was when Simon came home from school and told his parents someone followed him home. That is when they showed Ruthie with her wild and crazy old hair looking like she had lived on the streets. I do not remember them ever showing Happy in the ep, so I do not know 100%.

If I remember correctly the only child who got adopted was the child that "the Colonel" and his wife (eric's mom and dad) adopted. I don't remember the child's name (George maybe), but I remember that Eric WAS NOT happy about it at first. Teh Camdens' had several other kids stay with them for long periods of time, but I don't think they ever adopted any of them. Robbie stayed with them for a while, then didn't Simons friend that got pregnant (Ashlee Simpson's character) stay with them for a while??

no ruthie isnt adopted.....the first show was about getting the dog happy and lucy wanting her period....but ruthies there real kid...not adopted

I doubt she's adopted. She turned out to be a really pretty girl. She used to be not so great looking but her hair was cute.
