Contrary to popular belief, traffic school WILL NOT remove ANYTHING from you record in ANY state. It removes/masks the points for the purposes of suspending/revoking you license for multiple offenses, but the RECORD remains. You can ASK you employer if they will reconsider if you take a defensive driving school. Even if you COULD get your DMV record cleared, your employer ALREADY knows about the record. NOTHING will change that.

In most states, points disappear from your license after a certain number of years. In many states, you can take traffic school to remove one or two points as well.

I'm pretty sure you can take classes to get the points removed. Don't quote me on that. I swear I heard it somewhere though. You take a few safe driving courses and your good. Call the DMV in your area. They'll know.
