But we all know that everything is on the internet! i just have to find it. so what should i put in to google to find this?
i have put in:

Psychology stay's alway from the sexes in a general sense, so thats pretty specific, hence why you have to do so much research. But the term your missing from your search is "Parent-child relationship", then you can refine it from there.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=parent+child+relationship

also a backwards way to go, is by the problems having bad relationships in this area would cause, so:

De/Attachment Disorders
Abandonment issues
Seperation anxiety
Sex role intenty issues.

I wish you the best of luck, its a documented fact so you shouldn't have to much trouble finding it, stay away from congnitive psychology thou, I believe there way of looking at it, excludes the power of the sex role within the family relationship, really boarder line sociology stuff so peek in that terriory a little.....
