Will the person that works at the store get fired? I'll feel even worse if they do. That is so un-hippie like!

Yes I steal. Well not so much now but I used to alot. I think if the person gets caught only then they will be fired.

No, never. I must say that I have done so in my past as a run away teenager many,many years ago.I didn't want to return home to a bad situation and really didn't know what else to do but to steal some lunch meat and whatever else I could from big supermarkets.My friend and I would have just enough money to buy bread but we couldn't surive on just eating bread. I was 17 years old and stpped doing it as soon as I turned 18. I don't know why I thought it would be ok since I was a kid.It was a lifetime ago but I can relate to people who feel that they are desperate and have no other alturnative.
I hope I never find myself in that sort of situation again.

I like to work hard to earn/buy what I want it makes it more special to have it.
People who steal should be punished.
