Take a look at comics in the newspaper....keep things simple. Maybe a character named Cupcake and her funny travails as the class president. Then you can develop scenarios that are simple, yet tell a story about school.

One the Archies did was a fund raiser, where Archie and Betty worked together to make jars of jelly to sell. They would forget ingredients until after they made it, run out of gasoline running to the store. deciding to double or triple the batch to make up for lost time. Spilling most all of it. Able to save about one jar.
The day of the sale, I little old lady came up to their table and asked them how much for the jar. Archie pulled out a a calculator, figured in the bad batch, the extra sugar, the gasoline, the extra berries to run to another store. Then he announces the price for the jar of jelly. $3,450.22
Everyone is in shock at him. The woman is pictured walking off thinking he's a screwball or batty or whatever (a picture from her head of what she's thinking.

girls play with barbies because they feel like she perfect...come on...what girl owns 5 diff cars even an rv....has 28 different jobs...owns a manion...has a hot plastic boyfriend...and traveled to 70 bazillion diff countries....she's probably society's standard for beauty just like ads on tv featuring models and movies feat. beautiful actresses....lil girls want to be like them....
