The redsox are a great francise. The pitching choked in big situations. With beckett on the mound the chances are good and i believe they can win the ALCS. you have beckett tomorrow then curt then matz who has been pretty roughed up but i believe he can do it.

Exactly, Ms. B! People have short memories. Bean Town has been in this position before and pulled it out. It's quite possible that they could win tomorrow and lose the series. However, whenever you have the dynamic duo of Ortiz and Ramirez, not to mention Beckett on the mound, there's a chance for Boston to turn this thing around. That being said, the only failings in this series rest on the soliders of one man in that BoSox dugout - - Francona. Winning in the post season is about pitching. Wakefield was the wrong guy to go with last night. Had Francona went with Beckett I'm sure the series would be even Steven at two games apiece. Instead the Sox have to go into game 5 with a tremendous amount of pressure. But as pointed out before that's when the BoSox are at their best; they'll rise to the occassion.

as much as i would like to see more baseball games by the series extending to to a game 5,6 or 7, i think the Sox are toast. Similar to the Rockies, I think the Indians are very excited about being so close to going to the World Series so they'll take care of business.
Yeams like the Sox and Yankees are in the playoffs almost every year so it becomes common to alot of the players. Teams that don't get into the playoffs much, like the Indians, have players that are so amped up about being there, they play alot better than they did in regular season.
So there you have it. Dirty sweaty Sox will be put through the ringer and put out to dry for the off season tomorrow night.
but then again, I wouldn't be surprised if they push it to another game because the Red Sox seem to have a flare for the dramatic.

Beckett will be pitching tomorrow, that alone is a win for the Red Sox. Then back to Boston they go with all their loyal fans to cheer them on. They came back from this situation in 2004 with the Yanks, who by the way is a better team than the Indians.
It's not over, to say otherwise, you just don't know baseball.

I think they have a good chance of coming back.
Beckett tomorrow is more or less a guaranteed win (I hope I don't eat my words).
People seem to forget that they came back from an 0-3 deficit in 2004. They need to tighten up the pitching and get their batting groove back. I'm not guaranteeing they will come back to win the series, but it can and may happen.

I think the Sox will comeback.I hope so, because they are the only team capable of beating the Rockies. It would be nice to see the American League win the Series.

I dislike the Red Sox and I have a feeling that after thier loss tommorrow night to the Indians they will go into a downward spiral as Manny Ramirez leaves and goes to play with the Angels and David Ortiz will decide to retire...Curt Shilling will retire also and Dice-K will be sent to the Bullpen...so after tommorrow night it all goes downhill for the Saux fans and thier old decreped franchise...GO YANKS!!!!

I hate the f n redsox. They are a team of losers they had one decent playoff in almost 100 yrs and they think they are the Yankees. They need t get over it and take their place in the back. There is no way they win this series they will probably win with beckett other than that they have little league pitchers!

the Red Sox are great.....they have the ability to come back and i hope they do, but their confidence is probably down because of their last 3 losses. beckett is pitching tomorrow night, so they'll probably at least win tomorrow!
