I don't consider coming out of an 8-year presidency, financially in the black, as being "torture".
As for Carter's presidency, I was too young at the time to remember it.
And didn't Clinton's affair give you a few laughs? Are laughs considered torture now?

Liberals are against torture but they will elect their partymates during election even if their issues are against on what they believe.

because libs are only opposed to torture when it is applied to their constituency (the terrorists)
they fully support it when it is applied to their enemies (hard working american taxpayers)
