making all their man made islands, building the tallest buildings in the world... emitting millions upon millions of tons of co2...Trying to build a tourism industry in the middle of the desert??? Dubai, go away.

they're trying to promote tourism in their country and get Americans to believe that the Middle East isn't all bad. They barely have any citizens so they are even giving away money if you become a citizen there. I think it's amazing how they built those islands. they country is so rich it's not even funny. Dubai is a wonderful place to visit. I've been there 3 or 4 times.

I just came back from Dubai and understand what you mean to some degree. Though it is amazing! I enjoyed Dubai immensely, and I intend to go back one day. I love the Mall of the Emirates!
It is only bothering you because you live there, and it is nothing special to you. You see it everyday. Give it a go, Try and look at it in a different light... If not? Make a change? Help yourself.

I don't know, I think its kinda cool that they are planting things there in the desert to make that go away. Building more and more golf courses. Giving millions of jobs to people from south asia. Mile long shopping centers ...

Lol.. You're sick and tired of the constructions??? Dude.. I'm sick and tired of the traffic here.. And by the way.. Try having a construction site right next to your building.. Amusing ha? lol.. Constructions he says, what about traffic? Never got stuck in one on one of those bridges for three hours? Or that stupid Sharjah/Dubai road?? Or this new Salik System.. A rip off, with traffic still lol.. I don't mind the constructions as much as I mind the stupid road diversions and the unbelieveable traffic..

haha , there just making the coutry the best if ure sick its ure problem i mean dubai is my life, and im from the royal family , we do not apreciate ppl like u ... we are working verry hard and giving serious money for those things , what do u think of americans trying to rule the world , go worry about that !

(seriously though, I understand what your saying, but seeing how it is already happened, there were some technological challenges that are quite interesting in how they were met. I gave engineers and workers a great challenge, that was accomplished. BUT, I wonder, are they Castles Made of Sand? (jimi hendrix, btw)

They do not know what to do with their money they have so much of it. OIL Many poor nations would be happy just to have what they spend on pocket money cars. private jets luxury holidays . So far Dubia have not been targeted by terrorists. I hope they will never have to experience such brutality .If they do they can kiss the tourist industry good by.

You are sick of Dubai? Well cure yourself and go where you are coming from and enjoy life in you home country instead of complaining and whining about your host country. Who forces you to stay? MOVING is the key word for you.
