Would it be wise to post the product without actually buying it first and when/if someone buys it then I go pick it up from the warehouse and then have it shipped? Do you have to buy products from wholesale warehouses in bulk?

The problem with selling stuff that you don't actually have in stock is that Ebayers will get pissed at you when it takes 3 weeks to get their items because the wholesaler is on back order.

Here are a few things to consider. Your site needs to look presentable. None of this basic ebay stuff. Also, if you can do some purchases with your account first so that your feedback is high enough, that would be good.

Try buying a few items that you KNOW will sell at the price you're selling them. Then as your business grows, you can move on to double orders.

Not all wholesalers will require you to buy in bulk, but most of them require a decent amount to be sold in a given timeframe.

Also, you WILL need a wholesale license. The distributers won't sell to you without one.

I agree with both Carling and Nate F

Best place to get paypal information is paypal. A business person should never shy away from doing their own research.

Nate F is also right: My sister ordered a product from a guy and he NEVER was able to get it and took 6 months to give her money back. If you want to be successful, you have to build customer confidence and give the people what they want, when the want it.
