Does "anywhere but here" count in the physical (geographic) sense? It's not an exact location that I can pinpoint on the map, other than pointing to where I am & saying "I'd like to be anywhere but here." I think that works in the emotional sense as well, don't U?

What about the State of Nirvana -- doesn't that count as both physical & emotional? -- an alternative state of being & consciousness -- existing on another plane of existence -- achieving "self actualization" & enlightenment? Perhaps U have directions there? Or maybe a zipcode so I could look it up? I know, I'll post "Does anyone have the zipcode for the State of Nirvana?" right here on Y!A and see if anyone knows how to get to there!!!

4000 years in the future. Or maybe at the point in the distant future when time has slowed to a halt and space has collapsed in on itself and has becomes so dense that the two invert and become each other and explode back out into a new inverted universe with the big bang. This is my theory anyway. but since it's probably impossible to exist, as we know existence I would settle for a point in the future when we have evolved as a species and the state of humanity has improved. That is the only place I'd rather be other than here.

I would rush to a place, geographical or emotional, that could capture and duplicate one of the best moments from my past. Yet someplace NEW!
Not that I can't just accomplish this on my own terms. But it's still easier said than done. There seem to be so many "Catch-22's" to every solution or idea that I have come up with lately!

I live in NYC and I would really rather be in the Catskill mountains, I love the mountains and that is the place that I'm able to achieve almost perfect peace. Being High up with all of the trees and the animals and the wind it's heaven on earth. There are times when I really wish that I could move there now but I have to wait for my daughter to finish high school and than I can move if I want to.

I'd like to be at the Dock Side Bar at St. Thomas, in the U.S. Virgin Islands. I'd sit at the bar listening to reggae music. I would sip some rum punch...and be safe in the knowledge that my "vacation home" was a taxi cab ride away when ever I wanted to go back for a nap.

A feller can dream.
