Hi,2000 Honda Accord...58000 miles...
When I apply the break, I hear a continous sound ...(it is as though some part of the car beneath is in contact with the road)...
But, as far as I have noticed, nothing seems to be out of place down there...
his happens only when break is applied though...
Please help...

Definitely have it inspected. Could be a host of different problems.

Rear brake calipers have a habit of seizing up this will give you premature brake pad wear. Normally there is a high pitch metallic noise as the pads have a metal wear indicator. It might be a stone trapped between the brake pad and the disc (rotor) either way have them checked!

it seems such as you wore by way of your disc pads. this only leaves the mounting bracket to rub against your disc rotors to end you. the metallic brackets are actually not designed to try this, and dig into your discs. you likely now no longer have mind-blowing discs, yet tough grooves cut back into your discs. you will choose new pads and discs. it truly is conceivable the style you describe thigs is exaggerrated, and you're only listening to the warning component of the pads, signalling the above situation is readily to take place. yet while it truly is shaking and making noise, it probably already exceeded off.

Brake pads need replaced, or the rotors resurfaced
