11%, it's never been lower. The first female speaker of the house should be hiding under her desk, crying. Libs tirelessly attacked Condi Rice, where is their outrage with Nancys crappy performance? Imagine the attacks if this was a female Republican led congress! 89% don't think this lib led congress is worth spit.

I'm anxious to hear the liberal spin on this one, you are totally correct. Where did the loons find Pelosi, oh yeah, San Francisco.

I like to be considered a lib although I'm not a democrat so OK, I'll talk about it. According to the Zogby poll, taken this past weekend, Congress's approval rating is 11%, same as last month. Bush's approval rating is 24%, down from 26% last month. I haven't seen any others in the past few days, so I don't know what they say. Yes, Pelosi and Reid should be replaced but I said this several weeks ago. There's nothing wrong with critisizing Condi Rice, she's not doing her job either. See, as an independent I get to call em as I see them and I vote the same way. Poor you, you'll vote one party and then cry all the way home.

11%?, Source?

Or are you going to bring up the confidence rating and try to pass it off as the approval rating?

Latest poll puts them at 24%.

Also take note that the lowest approval rating this Congress has sustained was 18%. Compare that to the last, Republican-controlled, Congress which bottomed out @ 16% around mid-October of last year.

I'll talk about it. The reason why congress' approval rating is so low is because they aren't changing the direction of this country like they said they would. The people don't want this war in Iraq and that is obvious since Congress' approval rating is at 11% and since Bush's approval rating has fallen to a paltry 24%. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071017/pl_nm/usa_politics_poll_dc;_ylt=AjSKURE14J4WSkb0Hh8FlRAEtbAF
Congress' approval rating is always lower than the president's except when this congress was voted in during the 2006 elections and took office. They were voted in and the GOP was voted OUT to change things. I personally don't think they have the votes to pull us out. But that is just another example of how the two parties are more alike than they are different. The day they gave Bush more money for this war in Febuary/March is when congress' approval ratings tanked.
The people don't like Bush's policies or the direction of the country in either domestic or foreign policies and Congress is focusing on the Armenian Genocide and Rap lyrics. It's disgusting, I agree. I find it ironic that they announce their support for calling what Turkey did to the Armenians as genocide but completely ignor the fact that this country was founded on the genocide of the American Indian cultures. And hasn't labeled as such. That's just another example of how out of touch this entire government, whether Democrat or Republican, is with the American people. Now, why won't you cons talk about Bush's low approval ratings and why he has the lowest approval ratings of any president in office, even lower than Nixon's. I gave you an honest answer, it's high time you cons did about your own president as well.

Do you see your troll buddies from the other
beach talk about Bush's 'ratings' all the time ?

What about this idea: you give a flying poop
on approval hotchpotch and refuse to participate,
instead you get your butt moving in REAL elections.

All you will get is excuses and the whole.... bu.. bu... but look over here! Don't look at the facts! Here is the real deal... Pelosi and the Dems did not win based on their ideas... the republicans sent a message to Congress and the Senate that they had better shape up. Don't be fooled.. The Dems haven't won anything since Billy's second term.

LOL... funny the number of thumbs down on my answer... obviously all libs... yet that many didn't even bother to answer the question. Another typical response from libs.... no answer... just knee jerk reaction....

You know so very little about politics and our government. Replying to you substantively would be a waste of time.
