I was sexually abused as a small child and it never bothered me up untill I was 17 I am 29 now. I have no sexual desire what so ever and no feeling at all, sometimes being touched makes me sick. How can I get over this by myself? or options, with out seeking expensive professional help?

You dont have to get expensive counseling. they have counseling for sexual abuse victims. crisis centers and domestic violence centers have information on counseling available. It all depends on what you need. To self help yourself you need to read. There are selfhelp books on every subject out there. There is a book I used to give to teenagers called "beauty for ashes" by Joyce Meyer. There is information to help. I dont think it would hurt to try counseling though.

K.. sounds serious... i'm gonna try my best to help you out.

K... being a woman.. it makes sexual abusal all the more worse... though i do not understand your pain and suffering.. i can only sympathise... but anyways... im sure you dont need the pity.. but otherwise... as you said.. you started feeling this when you were 17... through to today when you 29... hmm... your a grown woman... and you still have your whole life ahead of you... you need to weigh out the pros and cons of your situation.. think about it... this is what the aesshole that did this to you wanted to happen to you... he wanted to destroy your life... don't let him get away with it... be positive.. put it behind you... turn over a new leaf... try sex with someone that you trust... and truly love... it'll help you move a step forward in this suffering...

I hope i helped.. mail me if theres anything i can help with :)

There is a 12 step program called "Adult Victims of Child Abuse" You can probably locate one through your local hospital. They're free of charge, but they take donations. They're happy with a dollar.
