Manny being Manny is played out. Call him what he is...stupid. Sure a smart hitter but a stupid human being. This is a guy who left a check for $105,000 in a boot in Arlington Texas in 1998 and told the people who notified him to "just go ahead and have it". This is a guy who sends a Cleveland bat boy to the local Wendy's before the game with his car and to pay with the $8,500.00 cash in the glove box. Not a magic mind by any account. His pose actually disrespected Boston fans. It showed he is more concerned about his Homerun then your win. Look pretty and lose is better then winning to him. This guys hasn't even wanted to be in Boston for most of his career in Boston-so that shouldn't shock anyone. AND NOT ALL PLAYERS WATCH THEIR SHOTS-that's a lie. I see players all the time put their heads down and round the bases. If you are Sabathia, do you give him one high and tight at some point in the game on Thursday?

Dirk...not a Yankee fan. Indians fan. You sould like a pissed of Redsox fan whose team is on the verge of being eliminated.

I wanted Manny to leave, what, three years ago when he was whining. And I agree about this "Manny being Manny" phrase - so f**king lame. The local (Boston) media love to say it, and I can't f**king stand it.

GO SOX!

The Indians are up 3-1 on the Red Sox and they won't do anything to awake a sleeping monster. All they want to do is win one more out of the three remaining possible games and go to the world series. Now, if they were down 1-3 and Manny came to the plate he better have on a helmet and a face mask because a pitch could be coming right at his head. Keep in mind that Manny's homerun was the third in a row for the Red Sox and lets just say that was a special accomplishment to occur in a playoff series and leave it at that.

It’s always funny how some of you fan(atics) advocate hitting someone in the head or back with a 90+ mph fastball and you call Manny the dumb@$$. You guys are laughable. I tell you what…if a pitcher think its okay to hit a batter with a fastball, I think it would be okay to hit a pitcher with a baseball bat. Childishness begets childishness.

But anywho there’s nothing wrong with Manny posing. He was feeling the moment. Also, it’s entertaining. That’s what sports is - - > ENTERTAINMENT. 90% of the players in the game today are like robots. Just boring. Manny is what’s desperately needed in a game that is just not as exciting as other American past times such as football. Don’t get me wrong. I’m a fan of the game of baseball. But it can be dry at times. Players like Manny are refreshing because they add something to the game. Some zest, some appeal; some entertainment! Manny gives you something to talk about around the water cooler. And if Manny is not your cup of tea then don’t watch Boston play! Get over it. It’s really that simple. But I think you Manny bashers will continue to sit on his scrotum…why? Because you love him that’s why and you don’t want to admit it. I guarantee you if Manny gets treated and lands on your team you’ll be cheering to high heaven every time he sends it deep and poses.

He sound pretty NICE to me. He's stupid for rewarding nice people in Arlington? What are you, an accountant? So what if he has $8,500 and says, "Here, kid, get me a bacon-cheeseburger"? And how does the pose disrespect anyone? He isn't the only player to do that. It's like those crazy antics football players do when they score a touchdown. What's supposed to do, grab the mike and say, "I'm sorry I could only hit one home run this at bat"? And he was in Boston in 2004, for crying out loud. And you should learn the difference between 'then' and 'than' before you call someone stupid, too.

Manny isn't the only poser in the game today, there are quite a few but last nights pose was a bit much even for him. Bob Gibson or Nolan Ryan would definitely have him sitting on his behind the next time up. If I'm Sabathia he gets chin music, but todays game is played differently and C.C. would probably get tossed. Pity

to all the bashers last week when i posed this question

Doesn't it feel good to watch a cocky jerk like Manny Ramirez lose?

was bashed by many, guess I was right and you were ALL WRONG, have to teach a few of you lackeys a lesson

i said he was a jerk idiot last week , and now it is confirmed by boston media, cleveland media, and national media

sucks to be wrong, lets see if any of you can finally admit that manny is a dumb jerk

his quote today
"If it doesn't happen, who cares?" Ramirez said Wednesday afternoon. "There's always next year. It's not like it's the end of the world."

WOW, i bet his teammates, coaches, and fans care

again its ALL ABOUT MANNY, exactly why cleveland didn't want him back

Manny doesn't know or care because of all of the hash on his helmet. Why should he care though when the rest of the team is a disgrace. I sat above their dugout and the entire team smelled. Showers do exist now. Boston has zero class.

If I'm Sabathia I strike him and out and celebrate no matter the score as if it was the last out of the World Series. Seems like a good comeback to me without getting ejected, pluse it would be nice to see the reaction Manny posses as well as Red Sox Nation.

Luckily, Manny will be traded when his contract expires next year. The Red Sox aren't gonna want him; he's requested out of Boston twice, but he's dumb enough to think his team can still win a Championship. The Cubs will pick him up.

Call him what he is.... stupid. EXACTLY! What a disgrace to the game. Typical Boston fans back him up on it, which is even better!!! (yes i know not all, just the typical) CC has to play his game, cant risk baserunners and or an ejection. Now with a three or four run lead Raffy Perez puts one in his ear.
