the same one that's in there. pay up to a thousand for a used one from a junkyard (same engine size but newer) and 300-700 for an install. approximately.

Yeah you will spend some time searching for the right thing so have patience.... now the b16 will be the easiest to swap since so many have done it before companies have pretty much made everthing so that you dont need to look for junkyard parts... price to swap varies by shop it took me and two buddies like 3hrs to complete a swap, our first time and it was not that hard. Passwordjdm usually list motors and cost start there and see what you like

well since your thinkin about a swap a good one could be a b16 or a b18 depending on your budget, a h22a is good but heavy nd will take away ur a/c nd power steering so bummer....a k20 is good but can cost up to 10gz on the swap alone..its to much unless your a hard core racer which you sound like yur not lol these are good sites for motors, if u want get a b18 gsr motor for bout 2500 i thinkkk check the sites, and add on headers intake nd a nice exhaust system and for under 5gz you can have a nice powerful car...turbo is also a good option which can boost your hp pretty high up to 100hp...it all depends on your money and how much you are willing to spend...hope this helps

get a k20z3! or a k20a, the K-series rocks!

you can get a k20a around 4-5k. it's the engine used in a 2002-2006 honda integra type-r from japan. and the k20z3 is the engine used right now in the 8th gen civic si's

unless you are having someone install it very cheap, it probably doesn't pay to do. after all, when you're finished, you still have a 10 yr old car. what if the tranny goes afterwards?
