God is often depicted as a man with a white beard chucking lightning bolts at people who displease him, all due to the depiction of Zeus rather than the Bible.
In the comic strip WONDER WOMAN, the main character's name is Diana Prince which comes from the mythological goddess (even moreso than any other person named Diana).
The Virgin Mary is a virgin mother goddess, probably based largely on Artemis/Diana and her cult.
