Hi all, I may be moving to New Jersey soon (because of my job). I have been to the states before on short business trips. I was wondering how people react to Irish people there ?

No one is going to worry about what ethnicity you are. Most of our ancestors came over from Europe via Ellis Island in NJ. You'll be fine.

Eastern N.J. is pretty polyglot.
Lots of N.Y.C. influence though.
Pretty pleasant once you 'catch the rhythm`.
Not as easy going as rural Ireland, but you'll
have fun.
