how do u save ashely from the game resident evil 4 when she is trapped?

please help me if u know the answer my brother need help nd he don't know how to save ashley whe she is traped he is playing it in the playstation 2

Not very descriptive here. She gets caught a lot. That's pretty much the entire concept of the game.

But I'm guessing you are at the end of Chapter 3-3. That's the one that seems to best fit your description. You have to shoot off the bars that have her fastened to the wall. Rifle makes it easiest.

I assume you are talking about the section where she is trapped by the bars on the wall, right? Use your rifle w/scope, and aim at the bars where they attach to the wall, making sure you don't hit Ashley. Once she is free, you have to shoot any of the enemies that flock her. Don't let them take her away! After you wipe out all the enemies, you'll take control of Ashley until she meets back up with Leon.
