Use yahoo yellow pages and put in your city, state and then type in anyone of those things you typed and it will give you a list of practices by how far they are from your house.

And then try gynecologist

Try looking under hospitals also, some hospitals have family clinics or ask your local Department of Health and Human Services they usually know where the free clinics are. They would be found in the county government offices of the phone book.

As for male or femal doctors that decision is up to you. It depends on what you are comfortable with. I prefer male doctors, in my experience they are usually more gentle I had a female gyno that I thought was trying to pick my brain when she was doing an exam down there.

Most are listed under "Women's Health". As for male or female, that's really a personal choice. I have been to both and prefer female since they seem to understand more what a woman is going through. At least that has been my experience.

Look in Yellow pages under Physician..OB/GYN. I, myself, would prefer a female doctor.

It may be under 'obstetrics' or 'obstetrics and gynecology' ... if you tried doing this online, the misspelling you used would get you no answers ... and most gynecologists are also obstetricians with that as the 'first' in their two word specialty.

Should be under gynocology or obstetrics but usually it's under both.

You might just want to call your insurance. They may have a special one that you can go to. Or you may have to go to one assigned by your primary care physician. Other than that, I would go with either family or general.
