William Blake is pretty incredible...some of his stuff will definitely make ya go "wow." He was a late 18th century poet, painter, visionary and mystic and was the one that came up with the line that inspired both Aldous Huxley and Jim Morrison:

"If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is...infinite."

Horace. You may think this is a joke........too long ago....but find some on the net and read. You will be amazed at how the same problems are still relevant. More recent try Wordsworth, Yeats, T.S.Eliot.....
