I'd rather buy personally.

The cow as a whole produces a lot of good elements, including milk, and can also trim your lawn. Then when it dies or you kill it, you can eat some steaks and make some nice leather.

In the long run, buying the cow outright is usually a better idea, depending on rental fees. Is there a possibility of a rent to own deal? Depending on APR, that might be the way to go.

I would rather have the same cow forever, so I would buy it. That way I can get to know the cow, trust the cow, be familiar and always have the same loving cow to come home to.

I might have to just borrow it. My landlady won't let me have pets. But, really, my place is to small to keep a cow. You better hang on to it for now. If I move, I'll let you know.

I don't need the whole cow, I'm not THAT hungry, but a nice rib eye steak would be just fine
