As a former member of the Connecticut Citizens Action Group protested against the use of carcinogenic additives and colors used in food.
This was a nationwide effort which forced Congress to pass legislation preventing food manufactures from using known carcinogens in food. It became law.
A group of us from New Haven, CT would have demo's on town greens around the New Haven County area. We got on tv.

yes i have . and it cost me a lot , not in money but in my health IN1993 i had an accident at work Ilost my right leg , then the insurance company , wrote me a letter to say , that haveing a leg of at work was not a serious injury I protested in the courts and lost over a period of 12 years , , , but my health was deterinating , so to cut a long story short , i took them the insurance company , to the highest court in the land , THE INDUSTRIAL RACAL DICRIMINATION COURT IN THE HAIGE , AND WON , MY CASE , but at a price , the morel of this true story , is never give in to someone that thinks they are better than you , because , they are not , , fight for what you believe in

I have been arrested a few times years ago when I protested outside a nuclear missle site with my Quaker buddies. It was at Easter time.

I haven't had the courage but there are plenty of issues I have with allot of thins, poverty, homelessness, single mother's rights, Native land claims, and the S.P.C.A

I refused to dissect animals in high school, which was really hard because I had regular Biology, and then AP Biology

for animals rights, I have saved two dogs my self, I know it's not a lot but it's a start
